Each LED step light in this collection is designed for recessed installation into a standard single-gang junction box, making it compatible with both new construction and retrofit projects. All models operate on 120V line voltage and connect directly to standard electrical systems without the need for a separate transformer.

Step Light Faceplate Styles and Configuration

The lineup includes multiple faceplate designs to match different architectural environments. The louvered SLE-LH series directs light downward through horizontal slots, reducing glare in enclosed stairwells. The angled SLE-A series projects light at an offset angle for broader coverage across landings and treads. The flat-face SLE-F series provides a clean, flush appearance suited to modern interiors and exterior facades. For larger commercial stairwells and exterior walls, the STP series offers oversized wall-mount step lights in multiple faceplate configurations. Westgate's interchangeable trim system allows specifiers to swap faceplate styles on the same step light engine without replacing the fixture, simplifying inventory for multi-building projects.

Color Temperature, Controls, and Certification

All LED outdoor step lights in this collection feature CCT selectable technology, allowing the color temperature to be set at installation (typically 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K) without ordering separate SKUs. Finish options include white, oil-rubbed bronze, and brushed nickel. Select models include an integrated PIR motion sensor for occupancy-based activation in stairwells and corridors where code compliance or energy savings are a priority. Every fixture is ETL listed and backed by Westgate's standard warranty.
