About LED Flood Lights

Commercial LED Flood Lights by Westgate Lighting

Westgate Lighting manufactures LED flood lights for building facades, signage, storage yards, loading docks, flagpoles, and security applications. Flood lights handle aimed illumination, putting light onto a specific surface rather than spreading it evenly across open ground, which makes them a companion to the pole-mounted and wall-mounted fixtures in the wider commercial outdoor lighting range rather than a replacement for them. Fixtures are available in line voltage and 12V low voltage platforms, in knuckle and U-bracket mounting configurations, with multi-power and multi-CCT selectability across most series.

Spec and Architectural Flood Lights

The LF4 platform covers projects with architectural or specification-grade requirements. The LF4MAX Series is the maximum-feature round-back flood light, available in a U-bracket variant and a knuckle variant so the same optical package can be mounted to a pole, wall, or grade-level surface. The LF4PRO Series provides multi-power and multi-CCT output in an architectural housing, and the LF4-KN Series offers the LF4 architectural body with a 1/2 inch knuckle.

Power and CCT Adjustable Flood Lights

The LFX platform is built around field-adjustable output, letting a contractor set wattage and color temperature at install rather than carrying multiple SKUs. The LFX-KN-MCTP Series covers small and medium high-lumen applications with a 1/2 inch knuckle, while the LFX-TR-MCTP Series provides multi-power and 3CCT selectability on a U bracket. For tight spaces, the LFX-XS-KN and LFX-XS-TR Series deliver extra-small housings in knuckle and U-bracket versions. The LFX-KN-P and LFX-TR-P Series add integrated photocells for dusk-to-dawn operation, and the LFXE-MD Builder Series ships with a Type 3 lens and a photocell disconnect switch. Compact options include the LFE Series and the LFE-BIG-MCT Series for combined area and flood duty.

Line Voltage Bullet Flood Lights

Bullet-style flood lights suit facade washing, sign lighting, landscape uplighting, and any application where a compact aimed head is preferred over a larger flood body. The FLDX Series operates on 120-277V for commercial distribution systems, with the FLDXPRO Series adding an integrated photocell. The FLD4X Series provides the current X-Gen bullet flood platform, the FLD3 Series offers a third-generation 3CCT flood head with photocell, and the FLDF Series delivers narrow-beam spotlights specifically for flagpole illumination.

Low Voltage Bullet Flood Lights

For sites running a 12V distribution system, the FLVX Series provides the X-Gen bullet flood platform at low voltage, and the FLVXPRO Series adds an integrated photocell. Matching optics across the line voltage and low voltage families means a project can standardize on beam appearance while using whichever supply the site already has in place.

RGBW and App Controlled Flood Lights

The FLDX-RGBW and FLVX-RGBW Series provide RGBW color-changing output with Bluetooth control through the Westgate app, in line voltage and 12V versions respectively. These suit facade accent lighting, seasonal color schemes, and branded architectural treatments where fixed white output is not sufficient.

Mounting and Bracket Options

Most series are offered in two mounting styles. Knuckle mounts (KN) allow tool-free aiming after installation and are typical for wall, eave, and grade-level positions. U-bracket or trunnion mounts (TR) provide a more rigid attachment suited to poles, parapets, and structural steel. Selecting the bracket at order rather than adapting in the field reduces install time and keeps aiming consistent across a run of fixtures.

Specification Support

IES files, spec sheets, and installation documentation are available for every series. Westgate's DIY Lighting Design Tool can be used to model fixture quantity and aiming for a given surface or area.
